The 5th Annual Poppy Pedal is set for April 27th, a Sunday this year. Mark you calendar and join us for a ride, and maybe meet a new best friend from the pet adoption booth!

About the event
Join us for the 5th Annual Poppy Pedal Ride in the beautiful and quaint Amador City! This fun-filled cycling event winds through scenic trails and historic sites, offering routes for all skill levels. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy the outdoors, connect with fellow riders, and celebrate community.
A ride for everyone with spirited backroad rides (~20mi) and family fun rides (~3mi). Final routes and profiles will be posted before the event. Please note, despite the artwork this is not a dog assisted ride (excpt for in the case of accessibility), we welcome your pups at the event before and after the ride or visit the pet adoptions booth to find a companion. All routes are no drop rides, meaning we will not leave anyone behind. Rides happen RAIN OR SHINE.
RSVP required to ride, you may RSVP at the event. There is a suggested rider donation of $10 (not required) to help Amador Trail Stewardship further its mission. Riders must sign a use waiver available the day of the event, sorry but no unaccomapied minors.
Coffe and breakfast items are availalbe at the Foothill Kitchen pop up, so come early and stop in.
Need a bike? We have some mountain bikes available, thanks to ATS and Jackson Bike n Board. They will have a booth on site to help with last minute tune ups before the ride. You can reserve a bike early by stopping by or calling Jackson Bike n' Board. We reccomend a mountain bike, gravel bike or similar, there are a mix of paved and dirt roads, some have bumpy sections. Roadies can make it and make up a large part of our crew each year.
Play the poppy pedal poker run game for a chance to win a new bike! Always a crowd favorite.
Dont ride? Perhaps while the rally ride is happening, enjoy the lemon poppyseed panckake brunch special at the Imperial Hotel.

Feeling lonely? Visit the old tavern to see the pets available for adoption at the "Puppy Peddle" hosted by the Amador County Animal Shelter. Think about taking home a forever friend after an incredible day of community.
